Hecky's Barbecue of Evanston is a great supporter of Clearbrook. Most recently, Hecky sponsored our "Sweet Home Chicago" event which took place on Saturday, November 14 at the Chopping Block in the Merchandise Mart. The man himself, Hecky Powell, and his team were on site demonstating how to make BBQ ribs, playing BBQ trivia, and passing out Hecky's hats and aprons to guests. At the end of the night, Hecky donated not one but two bottles of his famous BBQ sauce, one original and one hot, to each couple.
